With my Duchamp booklet I found throughout my research about his love of chess but also some incredible images of the man himself. I chose to use the whole "Creative Act" as I loved it as a piece of writing and the point of view Duchamp was getting across. To prevent it from being 'boring' I included some pull out quotes to break up the text and some expressive photos of Duchamp.
I also chose to work with the serif font 'Hoefler' as when changed to bold or italics it felt the most expressive. To reflect Duchamp's personal life I placed in additional chess pieces throughout the booklet to represent the little parts of chess in his life.
